Our studio is pleased to have secured outline planning permission for our client on a sensitive site in the conservation area of the market town of Louth. Working closely with the local authority planning officer, heritage officer and heritage consultants, we developed a proposal that addressed the issues of scale, materiality and siting to sensitively place a new dwelling onto the site while contributing positively to the streetscape. The proposed residence transitions between the substantial three-storey Grade II listed houses and the smaller single-storey homes on Edward Street.
