Faber have received Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the conversion of a 19th century tower castellated tower into holiday accommodation. The tower is sited adjacent to Trusthorpe Hall.
Our approach to the building has been to sensitively restore the original architectural elements while adding a contemporary addition to the tower to differentiate the new intervention from the existing building. The new ‘lightbox’ at Level 3 is set back from the castellations to maintain the original facade. The lightbox creates a small sunroom and allows the building’s holiday residents to safely access the roof level of the building to take advantage of the views of the Lincolnshire Wolds and Lincolnshire coast.
